Clothes for Tanzanian children

The community of Dorridge, near Birmingham have recently shipped 4 boxes of children's clothes to Tanzania through HELP International. The clothes will be distributed by friends of the charity to street children. I will keep in touch with the lady to find out other needs in the area and report back. So watch this space!

Members, Volunteers and Gap year students

We are always looking for Members, Volunteers and GAP-Year students wishing to go to our project sites and help out and learn something about the places while they are there. If you wish to volunteer, visit our website and download a membership form, fill it in and send it to the office. Alternatively, just Email us your intention and we will be in touch.

You have to be at least 18 years old to travel on your own to our project sites unless the site is in your town. If you are under 18, you can only travel as part of a group.

Do you have anything to donate to charity?

Do you have have unwanted but useful items you would like to donate to charity? If so, read on.

In the interest of the environment, it makes no sense for any charitable organisation to travel to your house and collect items you with to donate to them, and store them in a starage unit where some might be subject to damage from mishandling, rats, humidity, etc. it is a lot more efficient and cost effective, to sell your items online and donate the money online.

On our website is a link to "Charity Sale". Follow that link to a free advertising site where you can list your items and arrange with your customer the conditions for sale. Once the item is sold, go back to the website and under "Donations" you can donate via PayPal or Charity Choice.
